During this month my objective was to remix a selected song by utilizing various techniques to determine the Key, Time Signature, & BPM via Tempo mapping. This was done to determine the reference point to begin the remixing process.

I chose the song "Cold Strive" by Skelpolu which is a Electronic song that I chose because I  love the genre but knew would be challenging to myself within a genre outside of the normal i am use to. The first remix I removed the percussion and drum since this is an electronic dance. For the second stem I made the addition of removing the ambient synth that is present throughout the track. The final remix was built upon in extensively with live recordings, sound design, and rewire application to achieve a different feel on the track.
